Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Complete refund excluding service charges

Processing Time: 5-7 business days

Processing Fee: €50 for credit card transactions

Conditions: Requests must be made verbally or in written form via email or phone

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half of the complete charter cost

Processing Time: 7-10 business days

Processing Fee: €25 is deducted from the refund

Conditions: Cancellation must be backed by a valid reason; operational expenses incurred

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: Refunds unavailable

Exception: Consideration for unforeseen emergencies

Alternative: An offer for a charter voucher might be given at the discretion of the management

Conditions: Proof required for emergency situations

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Your safety is our utmost priority. When the weather conditions are judged to be hazardous for the operation by our seasoned captain, you can rely on our flexible choices:

  • Full Refund: Issued if it is not feasible to reschedule
  • Reschedule: Transfer your booking to an alternative date at no extra cost
  • Charter Credit: Receive a voucher valid for one year from the initial date

Weather Assessment Process

Weather evaluations consist of:

  • Analyzing wind patterns and speed
  • Assessing sea conditions and wave heights
  • Visibility and rainfall projections
  • Adherence to Coast Guard bulletins and warnings
  • Professional evaluation of safety from our captain

Decision Timeline: Determinations regarding weather suspensions are concluded no less than 4 hours before the planned departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Critical Situations

We recognize that medical emergencies can happen unexpectedly. In the following instances, your case might be eligible for particular consideration:

  • Hospitalization needed due to sudden illness or injury
  • Death within the immediate family
  • Deployment or essential recall for military duty
  • Mandatory court appearance or jury service
  • Impacts of natural disasters on travel

Proof Required

To address requests for an emergency refund, the following evidence is necessary:

  • A medical statement or documentation from the hospital
  • Death certificate, if applicable
  • Formal military directives
  • Legal summons or notice of jury duty
  • Emergency notices or travel warnings

Processing: Emergency refund claims are dealt with within 3-5 working days after the submission of the needed documentation.

Operational Cancellations

Technical Failures

If the vessel you are assigned encounters an irreparable technical issue:

  • Replacement Vessel: We will aim to provide a similar alternative
  • Full Refund: Issued when an appropriate replacement is not available
  • Partial Refund: Given if the replacement vessel has a different price
  • Compensation: Additional recompense may be provided for the inconvenience

Crew Unavailability

In uncommon incidents where a certified crew is not accessible:

  • Effort will be made to organize a substitute crew
  • Full refund in case the charter is not able to proceed
  • Option to reschedule without extra charges

Payment Method

Refunds will be sent back using the original mode of payment:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

A €50 surcharge for cancellations done over 72 hours in advance

Bank Transfer Handling

A €25 charge for all bank transfer refunds

Extra rates may be applied to overseas transactions

Charter Credits

Occasions for Credit Allocation

Charter credits may be extended as an alternate to refunds under these conditions:

  • Late cancellations (below 24 hours)
  • Cancellations due to adverse weather
  • Voluntary requests to change dates
  • Disruptions due to operations

Credit Specifications

  • Validity: Active for a year from the date of issue
  • Transferability: Non-assignable to other individuals
  • Worth: Corresponds to the entire charter fee (sans processing charges)
  • Application: Applicable on any future available charter
  • Expiry: No roll-over past 12 months

Partial Service Refunds

Disruptions in Service

If your booked charter gets interrupted or shortened due to controllable circumstances:

  • Refund calculated on the unspent portion
  • A voucher for the succeeding charter equivalent in value
  • Gratuitous upgrades or additional services

Interruptions Related to Guests

In the event that a charter is discontinued early because of guest misbehavior or breaches of safety:

  • No reimbursements for the unutilized duration
  • Complete payment still enforced
  • Supplementary costs could be incurred

Dispute Resolution

If you take issue with a refund judgement, you are permitted to:

  • Request an evaluation from our leadership team
  • Submit any further documents or evidence
  • Engage with consumer advocacy organizations
  • Seek legal channels as stipulated by governing laws

After submitting, our team will acknowledge your request within a day's time, evaluate the validity based on our policy, and provide a resolution within two days. Upon approval, refunds are processed accordingly within the promised time frames.

  • All requests for a refund must be documented in writing
  • Refund transactions are conducted in €, regardless of the initial payment's currency
  • Securing travel insurance is highly advised
  • Our policy is subject to amendments, which will be communicated 30 days ahead of implementation
  • Refunds comply with relevant tax laws and regulatory mandates
